sanitizing pads

Q:  These pads are great!!  They are very comfortable and I no longer get diaper rash with my cycle!!  I am hoping to get my two daughters to try them as well.  I do have one question -  I soaked my pads and did not change the water daily  – is there any way to deodorize them??

A:  They can be boiled (yup, boiled) for a minute or two which will remove any residual odor.  I should clarify that my pads can be boiled but it’s not recommended for any other brands that have PUL or plastic snaps (mine don’t have either).  Boiling will actually melt the PUL and plastic snaps.
